01The fix
Your story. Great video. Every week.
You've got the product, the place and the people. What you haven't got is someone who can edit a phone reel and make it look like your brand. Freelancers are inconsistent. Agencies are expensive. In-house means one more job on an already-full plate.
The Short Cut replaces all three.
Built for Australian venues that earn their place
Wine and beer lead our rhythm. Bars and cafés join the roster as the cohort expands.
02What we do
You film. We edit.
The same rhythm, every week. You bring a minimum of twenty minutes of phone footage; we bring the craft.
A minimum of twenty minutes of phone footage a week, using our Playbook. No crew. No studio. No tripod longer than your arm.
Australian creative direction and a dedicated editing team. Finished reels and short-form cutdowns, colour, sound, captions and licensed music.
Delivered to your portal inside 48 hours. You approve in two rounds. Live on Instagram and TikTok the same week.

In their words
Sounds like your venue?
“I send footage on a Monday and good video comes back on Friday. It finally looks like the place feels.”
The Barrel & Vine
Winery, Yarra Valley
“The pour shots alone changed how the taproom looks online. We stopped apologising for our feed.”
Ironbark Brewing Co.
Brewery, Margaret River
“We film between coffees now. The feed finally looks as good as the shop.”
Lacuna Coffee
Café, Fitzroy
“The copper-on-copper still shots look the way they do in real life. Hard to grade, and they nailed it.”
Halcyon Distilling
Distillery, Hobart
Questions
The honest answers
Seven days from kickoff. Week one follows the standard rhythm: intake Monday, filming brief Tuesday, your upload Monday of week one, first cut 48 hours later, final delivered Friday.
Works for all of them. The rhythm is the same, you film on a phone using our Playbook, we edit. Cocktail pours, latte art, opening rituals and behind-the-bar stories film just as well as a cellar-door tasting. Wine and beer lead our current portfolio because cohort 1 of Foundation Members is wine + beer only; the Open Hours cohort for bars and cafés opens September 2026.
You own the raw footage and the finished videos forever. We retain a non-exclusive right to use finished work in our own marketing, attributed and tasteful.
Two revision rounds are included. Most venues love V2. If you genuinely hate the direction, we reset with a new editor or refund the month pro-rata. We'd rather stop than produce work we're both unhappy with.
Not on Edit Partner, that's the deal: you film on a phone, we edit. On-site filming comes with a Content Partner retainer, or as a one-off On-Site Story add-on from month three onwards.
No. We ask for IG Insights access for 30 days so we can learn what works for your audience, but whether to publish each piece is always your call.
